  Worst: Red neck southern cracker from Alabama doing the Yankee New England tour. One day while out selling Watchtowers.I took exception to his assurance that his selected wild mushrooms were safe to eat.For this insult on his CO (Commanding Officer) sovereign authority, he nearly disfellowshipped my whole clan. BEST:Big brother 'Riyopoulous',district overseer from eastern Massachusetts,circa early 1980's.He had goiter from malnutrition.My Dad worked with brother 'Riyopoulous' door to door back in the late 1950's.Dad says,that their coffee break 'pit stops' often consisted of, "munching out on donuts and cheap hot dogs".He was a sweetie according to my limited Intel.He was,'bug eyed' from the goiter caused by lack of iodine in his diet due to reckless abandon of his health care for the 'Troof'.Last I knew he passed away, and was still dead.

  Jehovah's Witnesses Are Under Mind Control

  if you were to tell a witness that they were "brainwashed" or that they were "under mind control", they certainly would not rationally accept it.the reason is because witnesses cannot distinguish between mind control and "obeying the faithful and discreet slave".

  it is only after a person stops exposing himself to the subtle mind controlling tactics of the watchtower that a person can see how thoroughly duped they are in their beliefs.

  how might you be able to tell that you are no longer your own person, able to make your own decisions in your life?

  however, a recent post about the elderly donating their property to the watchtower raises a disturbing thought.

  staying out of school assembly!

  does anyone else remember how awful school was because of the dreaded school assembly.. my whole school life was blighted because i couldn't go in.

  my young son can goes in and it is the best part of his day, he loves the hymns.

  how glad am i that i came to my senses before my son suffered like i did as a child.

  A seven year old JW boy who suffered brutal persecution from the faculty and pupils.

  My JW parents didn't have a clue what kind of daily torment I had to endure.

  WHY, IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO MAKE COMPARISIONS / CONNECTIONS WITH OTHER CULTS.As soon as the client sees the striking similarity of tactics with the other cults it will click with them.

  That's what happened to myself and many others.I was truly amazed that the moonies call their deceptive protocol of lying:"heavenly deception".How this rings and resonates so closely with the Watchtower's;"theocratic warfare".

  the watchtower loves to quote the first and last parts of this scripture, i've forgotten exactly how it reads in the nwt reads, this is from the niv: "religion that god our father accepts as pure and faultless is this:...to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

  " i know the nwt says "without spot from the world," its one of the key scriptures they pat themselves on the back with over their neutrality.

  i had it drummed into my head in the seventies that this scripture meant that not participating in government in any way was a requirement from god.
